Location: Lake Shasta, CA. I found this lost sole (a blue flip flop), horribly dried and cracked - high above the present water line that is now currently 137 ft below crest. Marinas have moved, boat rentals have gone out of business. Lake Shasta is rimmed with old exposed mud. Gone are the forests of trees that dipped into the water's edge.Thursday, August 28, 2008
